Dr Pandith W.D.Amaradeva who is regarded as the country’s most legendary Music maestro, celebrated his 85 birthday under state patronage at his residence yesterday. In the evening a ‘Live in concert’ musical recital titled PANDIT AMARADEVA LIVE IN CONCERT YESTERDAY-TODAY AND TOMORROW was organized by Tele drama producer Sudarma Neththikumara at the NELUM POKUNA, Mahinda Rajapaksa performing arts theatre for the STAR EVENTS ORGANISATION in the presence of a large gathering of artistes in all fields.
